SIP Switches

Eight SIP switches are available to turn on and off selected groups of elements.

To use a SIP switch, click on "Switches" from the main VoIP page, then click on the switch you wish to use. Checkmark the switch as "Active." You may also rename the SIP switch to a name of your choice for reference purposes. The name has no bearing on functionality.

To associate a SIP element with a SIP switch, on that element's page select the desired SIP switch from the "Switch" dropdown menu and save changes.

To activate all of the elements associated with a switch, uncheckmark "OFF" on the SIP switch's page. To deactivate all of the associated elements, checkmark "OFF."

Other SIP Switch options:

  • SIP Active: Checkmarking this option makes it possible for the switch to affect SIP activity.
